StrucSure Home Warranty and UBuildIt are pleased to offer UBuildIt franchisees the unique opportunity to provide their owner/builders with an insurance-backed, 10-year structural defect warranty on all homes built through the UBuildIt program. This program allows you to provide your owner/builder clients with peace-of-mind both during the construction of their dream home, and for a decade after completion.
Membership fees for UBuildIt franchisees are waived. Warranty fees are $5.00 per thousand of the home’s value and are paid once upon completion/closing of the home by the owner/builder (you don’t have to pay the fees on their behalf).
In addition to providing your owner/builder clients with added coverage, protection, and security, a structural warranty also benefits them by adding value to their home. The warranty is completely transferrable, providing them with a value-added selling point if they decided to sell their home within the 10-year warranty term.
Let’s face it…structural defects are a concern for all builders as they are very costly to repair. In addition to reducing your client’s risks, warranty coverage also makes sure their financial interest is protected in the event a defect does occur.
Risk management is just as important as construction materials and contractor agreements when building your dream home, so be sure your clients budget for this important line item.

- Foundation design plans
- Floor plans
- Pier inspection (if used)
- Prepour inspection
- Stressing certification (if post tension – if available)
- Frame and final inspections (when outside of a building department jurisdiction)
- City final or Certificate of Occupancy (when inside city limits)
